Cooper McCullough Group (CMG) Pty Ltd was founded by company directors Ryan Keating and Lachlan McCullough, on the back of strong performances in previous construction companies. Cooper McCullough Group is a Queensland based construction company primarily servicing Central and South-East Queensland.

The directors bring a combined 40 years of experience in safely executing a wide range of construction projects of varying size and complexity. CMG personnel pride themselves in delivering on time, below budget, quality projects whilst upholding the highest possible safety standards.

Cooper McCullough Group Pty Ltd specialises in delivering civil infrastructure projects as principal contractor, mining and mine services works, and plant hire.

Meet the team

Ryan Keating

DIRECTOR

Ryan Keating has been involved in the mining and construction industries from a young age. Over the past 25 years his passion for safely delivering quality projects has never wavered. Harnessing this passion and want for always doing better, Ryan has developed his technical skills in operating all equipment including excavators, draglines, graders, dozers, compaction equipment, and trucks. Ryan is first and foremost a family man with “Cooper” in the company name a tribute to his son.

Ryan is always keen to pull up his sleeves and lead by example, setting the standard and earning respect from his work crews and clients alike, and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Ryan’s honest demeanor and natural flair for leadership has seen him grow as a crew supervisor and Company Director. Ryan has high quality standards and this can be seen in the quality of work delivered as well as the immaculate industry leading condition of Cooper McCullough Groups’ plant and equipment fleet. Ryan’s key strengths lie in people management, plant and machinery, maintenance and logistics.  

Lachlan McCullough

DIRECTOR

Lachlan McCullough is a degree qualified Civil Engineer and has been working in the civil and mining industries throughout Australia over the last 12 years. Lachlan is from the Sunshine Coast but has spent a lot of his working career in Central Queensland and interstate successfully managing projects. Lachlan has good experience leading teams to deliver drainage, bulk and detailed earthworks, mine maintenance, traffic management, pavements, roads, dams, and structural concrete projects.

Lachlan is passionate about continuous improvement and has completed his MBA (Finance) and is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Despite strong technical skills, Lachlan’s key strengths lie in his leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring all stakeholders and employees feel valued and challenging team members to strive for their best.
