CHRC Pavement Rehabilitation

Cooper McCullough Group were engaged by the Central Highlands Regional Council to undertake pavement rehabilitation works throughout the region. This package of works included various road networks in Emerald, Capella, and Springsure / Rolleston areas. Works involved traffic management and maintaining traffic flows with minimal disruptions, stripping of shoulders and drains, gravel overlay and corrector layer, dry mixing / pulverisation, 2% cement by weight, wet mixing to OMC, shaping and compacting, and final trimming. All works were completed in line with MRTS07B on both council and TMR road networks. This program was delivered well ahead of program, with no safety incidents and a high quality final product for end road users. CMG key personnel worked collaboratively with council and TMR representatives to realign extents of works to ensure the best utilisation of project budget repairing areas in most need.
