Description:
Cooper McCullough Group were engaged by the Isaac Regional Council to undertake pavement repairs and culvert upgrades on Saraji Road, Dysart. This is a high traffic volume section of road with high proportion heavy vehicles as services mine traffic to prominent bowen basin mines. This project included upgrades to significant drainage lines, gravel overlay, insitu cement stabilisation, and completion of works in line with MRTS07B. On this project CMG mobilised with 1 week notice to enable completion of works in line with end of financial year. CMG worked closely with council members and contact administrator to ensure works completed met quality standards, optimized the project suare meterage to ensure the worst locations were rehabilitated. CMG managed high traffic volumes, weather and seal mobilisations to ensure completed works were protected as soon as practicable. Overall this project was a great success coming in ahead of program, under budget with no recordable injuries and a significantly improved rideability for road users.
